Return to Rugby Guidance

From Monday 2 November 2020, the Scottish Government moves to a new strategic approach to coronavirus outbreak management based on five graduated levels of protection.

This new regional system takes a level-based approach which sees each of the country’s 32 local authorities initially graded between levels 1 and 3. Full details of the Scottish Government Strategic Approach can be found here.

In line with this new approach, Scottish Rugby has today unveiled a new Return to Rugby Levels Framework – replacing the previous Return to Rugby Roadmap document – which provides detail on what is and is not permitted at each government level of public health protection.

On 26 December 2020, The Scottish Mainland was moved into Level 4.
